Training courses and forums organized by the Mineral Resources Authority
The “National Forum for Introducing Micro-mine legal environment” was organized under the auspices of the President of Mongolia and in cooperation with the Sustainable Micro-mine Project (ToBUT) of the Swiss Development Agency in 21 aimags, involving over 400 participants.
The advanced training No. 7 for the Geological, Mining and Environmental state inspectors of 21 aimags organized by the “ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN THE MINING INDUSTRY PROJECT” on March 15, 2013, and organized training concerning the implementation of the “Minerals mining by using micro-mines”, how to implement and the further actions to be taken (over 40 inspectors from 21 aimags participated in the training). The discussion on inclusion of micro-mine issues in the redrafted Minerals Law was organized within the Mining Ministry, the Sustainable Micro-mine Project, and the micro-mine representatives (January 20, 2013).
ОThe thematic training “Let’s make high quality 2012 Mining Production, Transparency Training reports” was organized among 75 business entities in cooperation with the Mining Production, Transparency Training office on February 6, 2013.

The national forum for “Transferring the private miners’ activities of mining minerals into micro-mine for” was organized under the auspices of the President of Mongolia.
The occupational safety and health training was organized at the Technological School in Erdenet city.
The official meeting for developing the guidelines and procedures for “Geophysical study”, and exchanging idea on the thesis of the present situation of the geophysical study was organized in cooperation with the Mongolian Geophyscal Association and other professional organizations on May 29, 2013.
The meeting for exchanging experiences among geologists was organized in the field in August, 2013 for the purpose of improving the quality of work for introducing the instructions for performing the 1:50,000 scale geological mapping work performed by using the state budget funding.
